no offence but i doubt u will ever get anyone to actually buy the engines. try calling the marina and see if anyone needs a new boat anchor as thats all there really good for.

^^^^
especially seeing as they arent complete and blow smoke.

you might be lucky to get something if they were complete and good condition

good luck anyway

4 bumps... 2 days... you must be desperate...

in all seriousness dude, there's only a handful of people who would take an 18R, and it's gotta be in good nick, bits missing just won't do, you better off offering someone a bottle of rum to take it off your hands

btw... what's a 16R?

hmmm... acctually on second thoughts, do you have an aisan carby for the 18r? 'cause my choke mechanism is fubar, won't be a bottle of rum, but maybe a 6 pack worth

a 16r is out of a old school corona (import) its identical to a 18r except it is 1800cc not 2000cc like a 18r same carbies, manifolds, dizzy, etc.
sorry only one carby and its on my new 18r in my hilux. but i can get you a down draft webber Smile
btw i have a dizzy for one of them and the 16r chain is only noisy if you let the oil go down to 1/2 on the dip stick ( i had a sump leak) both motors have the sumps off so you can inspect the bores and what not. dont know what the sumps are for Sad
if any one wants parts of them i will pull them down, btw 16r rods are good for 18r stroker motors!
Mr DOHC
not desparate to get rid of them just thought some one might want them, i could be wrong though

if plans go through with mine there'll be another 18R-C to join the for sale pages... surprisingly good condition, doesn't even leak much oil!!! uses a whisker to much fuel 'cause the primary main jet is too large, i'll get around to drilling out the next size down one of these days. manifold vacuum is a bit on the weak side too...
