Hi all,

I have decided to create this thread because I want to delve into the world of early Celica's..
I am particuarly interested in the TA22/23's, Ra23's and such, so if any of you are reading this and have any useful info you are willing to share, I will be willing to listen... well read actually!

I wanted to get some info on such things as best years to look out for, best model, best motor, what was decent, what was absolut poo.
Also whether to go for the fastback style or the more sedan like design. Although thats probably just personal opinion...

So really any info you may have stored up will hopeful send me done the right track!

Cheers Laughing Shocked Very Happy

You're likely to get 100 million different opinions.

it would probably be easier as thechuckster said - to hit members rides and catch an eyeful in there.

*otherwise your thread will explode - with people claiming the model they love the most is the best out there*

Hi,

As has already been said... do a search on the "Members Rides" and other sections of this forum for ideas. Also search on Google and see what's around and stuff like that.

For the coupes you'll need to search for TA22 and RA23, for the liftbacks you'll need to search for RA25 and RA28. They're all the 1st Gen Celica models, which I'm assuming you're after.
