I love the description on that website... sounds like everyone should own one Razz

Quote:

This catch can would reduce burn efficiency and increase detonation risk in both turbo or Non turbo cars

I assume they meant to say "oil vapours would..."

Looks pretty sweet though, what are the physical dimensions roughly?

Hi Toobs,

Heheheh....I knew someone will mention about that soon...I have already emailed them about their wrong description but no action... Confused

The physical dimensions are stated on the site too which measures 18cm x 10cm x 8cm in size.

Thanks!

Is there anything inside the can or is just an empty can with baffles or something to give the air enough time to condensate back into oil?

Eddie.

Hi Eddie,

I am not entirely sure on how the inside of an oil catch can is supposed to work but usually they contain mesh or something to separate the oil and air. It goes down and up like a U-shape inside so that air can still travel out but oil can't being heavier.

The level meter outside will show the level of the oil thats being collected over time. You can drain it if its reaching the top.

Different manufacturers use different materials inside to separate the oil and air. Read some people make their own using steel wool as well.

this is probly not the best thing to say when trying to sell this product Razz

they screwed that up nicely.

anyway, catch cans are the way to go, keep your engine healthy and happy. cheap price, good product, good luck Smile

i would buy it if i didnt already have one
