ok i know i asked the same sort of question before but oh well,
some of you guys told me that a twin turbo 2JZ wont fit in my engine bay but what if i got a non turbo cos then it wont have an intercooler so it will save space if this still wont be enough space then i will just go ahead with th 1G-GTE conversion, if your come post up nasty replys dont bother.

You can make the 2JZ-GE fit in your car but you will be much happier if you attempt the 1G-GTE conversion first.

the 2jz-gte and 2jz-ge will both fit, it will just require more work than you realise. bang for buck, 1g-gte is your best bet. easier to fit, and still enough power to loosen your bowels. If you want a 2jz, ma61 is the car you want.

Given no engine or driveline problems, that was a great price. You should have bought that as you will spend that much doing a 1G-GTE conversion let alone anything 1JZ or 2JZ......

hmm something doesnt sound right with that price. a 1jzgte ma61 with 18's and a good body and interior would fetch around $14000....

there wont be much to base that on as there arent too many 5mgte ma61's around. you do realise there is no factory 5mgte right...

even not running, if there was nothing wrong with motor, the engine package is worth about $2k, car about $3k, mags at least $1.5k, and that's without going into other custome stuff most likely done (exhaust, intercooler etc)

wekk $3.5 is still an amazing price, almost too good to be true. but if you didn't have the money to get it on the raod, what's the point?
