Buying from Yahoo Japan Mon, 02 May 2005 04:29 Go to next message
Does anyone have the ability to purchase from Yahoo auctions in Japan? I've found something that i'd like to buy but cannot buy it. The item is only small and relatively inexpensive

If anyone could give me any tips or info i'd greatly appreciate it. Cheers!

Dan

maybe if you do a search and translate the result
how about a search for ra28?
http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/search/auc?p =ra28&auccat=0&alocale=0jp&acc=jp
or a search for 1ggte?
http://search.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/search/auc?p =1ggte&auccat=0&alocale=0jp&acc=jp
oh look i found a computer for a 1ggte for about $25 starting price

yeah the best way is to search for something that you know will be written in english and then translate the pages after that...

the first time i used it i translated everything from the beginning, needless to say it took me about 2hours to find TA22 Rolling Eyes

I have the Google toolbar installed and all I do to translate is right click on the page to be translated and click on the line which says "translate into English" and sometimes I can even understand the translation. Does this work for others also?
If you want to buy from Yahoo Japan just do a google search for, yahoo japan auction deputy, and take it from there.
