3T- oil temp sender location Sun, 08 May 2005 04:26 Go to next message
well i bought a oil temp gauge cause i was concerned about my oil temp when im giving it heaps, wanted to see if a cooler will be necessary or not.
i bought a little speco gauge with a mechanical sender, ive looked around for a double adapter to run oil temp and pressure from the same block insert but have had no luck, how is everyone else doing it?
would it be ok to run the temp gauge of the blanking plate where the old mechanical fuel pump ran?

Apart from the fact there's no oil in there to temp, yes.

I've got a 2T-G sump with the factory oil temp sensor flange if you like.
