Hey i just need to know a few things about the 3SGTE engine.
Is there a RWD model? and is it a East West engine or North South, or both?
And any other specs would be helpful, I tried searching for it but couldn't find some of the things i wanted to know
Thanks

the question was answered
prolly a good options if your looking for a RWD N/S turbo motor would be something like an Sr20det from the silvias - or the earlier ca18det
already in RWD format for starters, and easily sourced
there are isuzu turbo motors as well that ive seen in gems but dont ask me details because im not a gem fan

there's always the YBT 2.0L motor form the Serria Cosworth RS. It's AWD but in a N/S configuration, much like the EJ20's in the impreza's.
The YBT is an over square block (bore larger than stroke) and has a huge turbo. thus it's quite laggy but has a huge top end with lots of potential. But best of all it's got that Brittish seal of approval.

i have at least 10 3S engines in various stages of repair/modification at my workshop in ipswich. there is no factory RWD 3SGTE, but it can be done. I recently sent one to a guy in melbourne. saturday is best if you want to look/talk.
