3TGTE TA22 - Tacho not working	Fri, 20 December 2002 09:13

Anyone know why my tacho doesn't work with my 3TGTE? Running Haltech F9 Fuel only computer, single bosch coil (only using one set of the twin sparks). Any help? Cheers -nick [Report message to a moderator]

Is it a standard size tacho? it should be connected off the -ive of your coil. [Report message to a moderator]

Doesn't seem to work - tacho reads like 6300rpm at idle (actually 1500rpm according to haltech puter)... Weird. [Report message to a moderator]

if its an aftermaket tacho, you may need to snip the wires on the back of the tacho to allow it to read correctly. because this is what you have to do with the autometere tachos. JUZZO [Report message to a moderator]
