RA 60 in the butterfly effect Tue, 10 May 2005 07:20 Go to next message

Has anyone else seen this movie? Theres a celica in it!

Its amazing to see a celica on a modern movie. The car is owned by the main characters mum, and later the main character, where it eventually ends up smashed Sad but it has a good run!

Check it out!

I watched the Butterfly Effect the other day and noticed a fault in it...

When Ashton's mum was driving the girl home (as kids), Ashton was in the front seat and the girl was in the back. The car stopped outside her house and the girl got out without Ashton moving. THE CAR IS A 2 DOOR CELICA!!! Oviously the car in the studio they filmed it in was a four door and no-one cared or noticed the difference. No No No

NOTE: I can't remember what the name of Ashton Kutchcer's character is so I'll called the kid Ashton. Embarassed

That was pointed out last year. Wink

Heh, so there is! Cool.

There's a good shot of the arse end at around the 32:45 minute mark, if anyone cares. It's US-spec Corolla GT-S (or SR5, i can't tell) sedan.

No, there really is, at the beginning of the first movie parked on the side of the road when Marty is hitching a ride on the back of a ute. Quite possibly brand new.

And Marty drives a hilux.... Smile

I believe there's a drive buy of a st162 in Swingers, not quite sure if it is one but it looks similar. Smile
Edit: spelling.

To simdog or whoever

The kid in the front actually DOES move, he simply adjusts the seat forward and the girl slips out. This is possible, as even my mates can get in/out by just moving the seat forward, but its a tight squeeze, Im sure though two kids could manage effortlessly.

I'm not sad, your just too happy.

Spare time is to be had by those who make it. But more realistically, it's easier to do this than work on my car.

I watched a movie ages ago, where a woman walks out of a shopping centre and gets in her car which is parked next to a Corolla GTS (trueno) then a bunch of blokes turn up in an RA65 looking celica and kidnap her...

Have no idea what the movie was called though...
