It would probably work but it would be a bastard of a job. I hate working on windows. You'd be better off swapping the whole door, that way you get central locking and electric mirrors into the bargain.

Was a piece of cake. I just grabbed the entire loom from an MA61, laid it under my dashpad, and swapped around a couple of wires for the door lights. Then I just gave it power. Physically swapping them is a piece of cake.

on mine I changed the whole winder assembly inside the door.
from the manual winder to the electric one.
gotta take glass out n stuff.
put it in, glass back in, line stuff up.
put supra skins on the inside.
add power, and a line to the passenger side window.
all good

I've seen the Jap ones, and they are ugly and no way near as integrated into the door panel. If it's at all possible, try and get MA61 door panels as well.

Finding an MA61 at the wreckers which hasn't already been picked clean is like hitting the lottery. Good luck.
