has any one tried fitting a g series diff housing into irs A6?

Apparenlty not possible, but search the CelicaSupra Forum to see if there has been sucessful as it has been discussed many times as I may be wrong...

It's quite possible, just horrendously expensive. Have you priced custom driveshafts lately?
There are a few 12 second MkII Supra's getting around with F series diffs (including mine) so unless you have an absolute arse-load of power there's no need to go G series.

yer strength of the g series maybe overkill norbs, but who do u know still makes aftermarket 2 ways for f series?
i guess i was thinking put a g series in and never have to worry bout diff strength or availibilty of aftermarket mechanisms (clutch lsd's)

But, if you're really concerned about the availability of a tough clutch-pack LSD, this is what the Americans look to if they dont for whatever reason want a Torsen:

Don't the Altessas run an F series dif? Meaning some companies would still make centers, There was a group buy for some a while ago, Cusco I think?
