Gday all.
I'm trying to get to my wheel bearings on the front drivers side wheel. I've got to the stage where i can see the rollers of the bearing, but there is a smaller dark ring infront of it which appears to be stopping me from removing the disc.
Is there some trick to getting it off? Should it just slide off with no resistance? Please help
Cheers,
James

Not wanting to ask dumb question, but have you removed the caliper, or maybe you missed a split pin?

Ah, i've got it off... my dad had a puller tool hiding
it ended up that the black ring i saw was the front of the outer bearing... so yeah, pulled it off and all the rollers fell out
So yeah... Looks like i'm buying some new bearings today
Thanks all.
