*Urgent* W50 shifter Position Fri, 13 May 2005 16:07 Go to next message
Looking at replacing my W40 with a W50... Just quickly, whats the chance of a W50 that I buy having the correct shifter position for my RT 104? A quick reply would be good, auctions close soon!

Cheers

The one I'm looking at has an M series bellhousing just for extra info, pics can be found here

Rename your thread to "W50 Shifter Positions" or something and you might get a quicker response.

Also heres a post on the old forums regarding w40 to w50 conversions... may or may not be of any use to you.

Shifter positions will vary depending on the model the W50 came from originally. That will determine your chances.
I would not let that stop me, I would just swap shifter assemblies to make it fit my car.
