Just another stupid prick too short-sighted to make a REALLY good living from His skills. Anyone with the patience and touch to craft something like that XP Falcon could command a price of their choosing to tweak and finesse customer's cars.
Now He's in goal for trying to turn a quick buck on stolen cars. Go figure.

rotatr wrote on Sun, 15 May 2005 20:34 | guys this isnt me
i bought the celica (rotatr) off him, although he didnt build it or buy one part for it, he bought it from the original guy who built it from ground up.
|
I remeber this car was in a fast fours and rotaries (back when it was called that) the guy who featured in the magazine, is that the theft person, you or the original owner/builder?

This thief guy resembles the performer Kid Rock (especially Kid Rocks' performance in the movie Joe Dirt).
He really looked the part at Summernats

And now the government will get to "steal" his car as criminal gains tax to pay for victims of crime etc.
I think that will make him re-think his career choices more than anything else.

no the original owner/builder of the car is not the guy who has been sent to jail.

da_horse wrote on Mon, 16 May 2005 16:44 | its a pity that the guy had to resort to illegal activities. i'm curious why he would be trying to steal engines tho, its not like he hasnt got enough media attention to get some sponsorship if he needed some cash.
|
I don't believe that he HAD to resort to stealing. It seems to me that he was trying to get through the easy way and only apply work to his own interest while ripping anyone off who came close enough.
To put the level of work into his own car while ripping others off = deadset cocksucker (in fact if he sucked cock he would be useful). Probably on the dole too??? I hope that he is successfully rehabilitated in gaol.
