My mums camry/apollo could use a new head, but she has 3S-F (no ecu) carburettor model. Maybe the carb can just bolt onto this head and it won't be any different.
so you've checked it with a straight edge and the surface is dead flat?
It is dead straight... The head has done less then 50k.
Not sure bout the difference between the the FE & FC head, maybe the only difference is that the FE head might have the holes in the inlet tract for the injectors which you could plug up anyway. Ill find out & get back to you.
