rims like this for this kind of price are on sale quite regularly in japan. The issue is getting them back to aus can cost you an arm and a leg i enquired about this count on it costing you 3 times that in shipping.

OZ Racing SPA 1992 17x9 3-piece 5x114.3 5-spoke +45 offset rims for a rediculously low price.

I want them but I'm in no hurry for them at this stage because my current stock mags are in virtually pristine condition too (only one of them has a tiny bit of scrapage, the rest haven't seen a curb in their whole life!).
When the right opportunity pops up I'll take it. What tires do you have on yours? Your Oz's don't have the decals anymore do they?

Patience, Rainey-san. Good rims come to those who wait. When you've got the $$$$$, and you think your tyres have only 3 months to live, start scouring Yahoo Japan auctions, and/or manufacturer websites for your beloved sweet sweet . . . AUuuhhhhhh.. . . droooool . . . .

16" are 45,600 Yen, 17" are 56,000 Yen. ($560 and $685 respectively)

thats correct, i have federal tyres which i suggest to anyone, as they have a rim protector so that stops gutter rash and the likes. Rims are in PERFECT condition, repainted and everything. No decals on them, but honestly, cant be too hard to get ones made up... plus decals = rice... when i think about it, they could prolly give me 5hp per wheel.
To be honest, they probably arnt worth 1800 so i couldn't sell them to you without feeling a little guilty. But i really don't want to sell these, so you'd want to be pretty desperate for them and offer me something i could pick up a new set of 17" rims with.
but yes, certainly the best mod ive done to my car i feel

Yea don't get me wrong Matt, they are very tidy on your machine but I wouldn't be willing to part with $1,800 for them even if you did want to get rid of them. I'm not even sure if I would love the chrono's on my car... I really am attached to the stockies. Keeping the stock look.
I love the decals on the rims too, but only on the chrono's, so you know they are genuine chrono's.

Oh I love them! Just not sure whether I want to change the stock look of my car if you know what I mean. I would never ever choose any other wheel than the Chrono though! I love the chrono's on the Castrol Celica's. Yeah I saw ya edit just now when you pointed it out, pretty sweet but its the Chrono's - or stock.

Firstly, wrong section.

Secondly SSS in Sydney has a set of these on their shelf last time I looked off an ST205 goingfor $1000 (about the only decent price thing in there)
