hey fellas , just wonder what a whitish smoke coming from the exhaust could mean ?
i dont seem to be loosing coolant or burning oil, or does the burning happen to be a more subtle type.
just trying to figure out the problem, i was thinkin it was some of the ceramic pieces that broke off the spark plug as i was attempting to take it out tiny pieces fell off and fell into the hole.
i dont know atm, it seems pretty bad as the more i accelerate more it comes out.
regards

If you're not losing a noticable amount of coolant or oil then its probably either your valve stem seals or your turbo seals.

hey,
My dads car (which im driving around while my car is off the road) has the same problem with whitish smoke. In my dads car the valve stem is broken and he couldnt be bothered getting it fixed. so i just run it with minimal amount of oil and if it seizes .... well loets hope my car is finnished by then.

If you're worried about the ceramic thing:
1) Remove your intake and exhaust manifolds.
2) Get that cylinder to top dead centre
3) Remove your timing belt
4) Open both the intake and exhaust valves by manually rotating the cams.
5) Use an air compressor to blow air through that cylinder.
It might take a while to get the little bit of shit to fly out but eventually it should find its way to the intake or exhaust (depending on which way you push the air through)

ok.
could that ceramic thing around the spark plug actually cause this , like is it a possiblity.
i actually need to know if its really that bad.
cause it happened immediately after i changed the spark plugs and that broken spark plug thing happened. so this problem was not present previously before the service.
