I've been tempted to make myself a lip spoiler like the R31 Skyline Silhouettes, 80's 318i coupes... like these... click 1...click 2...click 3

The problem is that I don't know where to start... and the style of spoiler is rather minimalist so the quality of how it's made has to be high or it'll look particularly shithouse.

Definately looks good.

But just a quick FYI, rearward facing scoop are illegal in WA.
Might want to check the with the RTA or whoever.
Don't wanna void that insurance.

yea, it probably is here too. oil or coolant pipe breaking and sraying on the windscreen etc. but i want an effective extraction scoop and rearwards is that way.

the foam is not hard, quite fragile actualy. places like bunnings might have it, best place would be to try boat building places etc. fibreglass suppply places might even stock it. i buy it from a bloke that has a fibreglass business, get it cheap out of his scrap bin. Very Happy
it would not be illegal to use the urethane foam for any purpose. i very much doubt that any bodykit etc. on the market now days is actualy RTA approved no matter where it's made.
