AE 86 JDM Part Numbers Sun, 15 May 2005 05:38 Go to next message
Hi People,
Ive been searching for a while, both here and on Club 4AG, and come up with a few numbers for JDM disk-brake rear caliper rebuild kits, and JDM Handbrake cables.
I have also rung Toyota, but the numbers they gave me dont match.
The numbers i have are:
Handbrake cable right & left (both from Toyota Aus.)
44420-12300
46430-12200
Caliper Kit (toyota Aust)
04479-12110
Caliper kit (Club 4AG) (dont know why there r two, perhaps L & R)
47750-12231
47730-12231
Im pretty sure the diff is from a Kouki Trueno, but im not 100%.

Now, My question is, can anyone out there confirm/deny these numbers, and if they are wrong, what are the correct ones?

Did you ring up Castle Hill Toyota? The dude James knows a crap-load about stuff like this. Everytime i've gone there looking for something, he'll find it within 5 minutes... even obscure stuff like the capacity of a t-series diff (its 1.3L) Smile

Eddie.

okies.

all the numbers are good...BUT

the numbers for the rear caliper kits off Club4ag are for FULL REBUILD KIT only. these include springs, brackets, pistons, the works....basically its a complete caliper.

now, before you get all carried away and go and order/buy this gear...realise also that the front handbrake cable, ie. the small one that pulls the other two, IS DIFFERENT as well.

that being said, you can either order this with the following part number, 46410-12140 -OR go to the local wreckers, and get one off a T18, as they're the same.

if you don't change this little cable, your handbrake will not work properly, and you wont get the adjustment you need to get it tight.

Basically, order this-
Handbrake cable right & left & front
44420-12300
46430-12200
46410-12140
Caliper Kit
04479-12110

cheers all.
sorry for the delay in replying..been flat out like a lizard drinking Razz

Hey thanks Steve, and no worries about the delay, i didnt think i would actually get this sorted so soon.

Now the question i ask myself is, Do i go the cheap way, scrounge around wreckers all weekend, gettin filthy or do i fork out the cash for some nice shiny new bits ?????
