Hi and greetings from Denmark (Small country who loves AU - I have been there in 2002 )
I have a problem..
I have a US MR2 Turbo from 1991, and i am about to swap engine from the 200HP US 3SGTE 1991 to the 245 HP JAP 3SGTE, everything was running smoothly until i found out that there was some electrical difference...
As you see on this picture: http://82.143.205.89/EA1.jpg
The EA1 connector (Placed in the booth behind the engine) is connecting the engine wire to the body wire.
Well.. the design of the connector differs..
I am shure that it is the same functions the connector provides.. and i have the complete US 1991 MR2 Repair manual from Toyota, all i need is the section from the Japaneese one, so i can see the function for each pin in the JAP connector.. and then combine the US and JAP connector properly (and NOT destroy the ECU or likewise)
I know you are using the same MR2´s as the Jap people.. is there anyone who can provide me with the PINOUT on that EA1 connector??
I have tryid almost any Toyota forum now..
