i bought 2 RA60s not long ago, and i decidedd one of them is going to be a track car. Now, most people think that ra60's are ugly , mainly becuase of the front end. well what about if the front end was different and looked more like a AE86 for instance??
i aint to flash with photo chopping
here is something i prepared eariler...thoughts/opinions

its not s'posed too
maybe its just my photochopping skills
someone should graft a AE** corolla front end onto it.
square headlights (to match the square body), slat grille and a bumper that doesnt stick out way too much.

Gary on the Old Celica Club list, who used to have the 300hp 22RE auto-x beast, replaced the headlights with fixed position (non-tiltable) ones.
What you really want, though, is this:

life = work
but up here in townsville the racing facilities are limited
they arent really big enough (circits) to destroy your car from a crash.....one track u dont even get out of second
that other ra60 looks okay i guess still looks pretty factory though

I personally think it looks butt fugly. The best front for the A6 Celica (assuming you don't want a Supra), is the SA63/RA65 front.

The ST162 front bumper is almost exactly the same width as the A6 front bar/bumper, was thinking of having a bit of a tool around with grafting the two together, but not sure how well it'd go - if anyone wants to photochop something up i'd appreciate it!

I was curious to know what it would like a couple of months ago... I'm unhappy with the front of the ra60, it needs a facelift.
Please excuse the poor effect, it was a quickie to get the general idea

I prefer the look of the SA63/RA65 as the RA60 doesn't look right in my opinion... Here is a photo of my brother's SA63, My MA61 and in the back Yian's MA61 in a group photo...

No offense, but I thinkl the photoshops so far look hideous.
I personally think that the best look would be the earlier (i.e. RA60) bonnet & grill with the later (i.e. Sa63/RA65) lights. I was going to do this, but apparently they're incompatible.

Also, if you want an xA6x with non-popup/tiltback headlights, try a Carina. Same chassis, different panels. In fact, you might even be able to put carina panels on the front of a celica body....

| OMG that'd be so full sick - just like a OneVia or a Sil80....
btw I'm joking - but it is an interesting idea none the less, although probably an utter waste of time.
Tomorrow I might half screw around with the front end of the RA60 and the ST162 and see how far away they are from being able to be grafted - just for fun
