i dont know squat about car engines. (or other internals)
but im here to learn and i have a keen interest.
i own a ford laser sedan (92 or 94) the generic white boxy ones, it is a bit of a brick on the accelleration, but occasionally it fires like mad and accellerates well. basically im wanting to beef this little thing up a little... any pointers?

Sell it and buy a faster car. Money will only be wasted on trying to get a laser to go faster

As much as i hate lasers you can put a air pod on, sports exhaust it all boils down to how much time and money are you willing to spend for personal satisfaction.

Just chuck a 50:48:2 mix of Nitro:Methanol:Water in it... should get it going hard for a very short period of time.

Dude dont listen to these guys, they just want everyone to drive toyotas. If u want to "do up" the laser then do it. But most of these guys wont know much about ford engines because they only know toyota. This will stir some sh*t hehe.

I know plenty about Ford engines and I know the Laser is fine for an econobox but unless you have a whole lot of cash and a turbo you shouldnt waste any time on it.
And you drive a Hyundai. Why are you even here? (other than to lowball in sale threads?)

you can have alot of fun with these lasers, i suggest putting a b6t in it, youll need a different ecu etc but itll crack and be a bit of a sleeper... other than that try a bpt familia engine conversion, i did this in a 323 and it was a good result. join www.fordlaser.com and talk too some of the guys there they can hoo you up!
