pretty damn accurate my m8 took it down the real quarter mile with him for 6 runs... all times were a maximum of .1 of a second out... but of course a road isnt a drag strip so dont expect good times lol

they can be good, and they can give *odd* results. if you have a good FLAT bit of road and your start is clean they are pretty reasnoable

They can be really accurate when used correctly. Chances of finding the right road to do it on that is perfectly flat are slim.

FYI M4 citybound from the toll gates to Silverwater Rd exit is a quarter mile... nice and flat too.
And yes the Gtechs are very accurate... especially the newer RS and RR models if you work out your pitch factor.
