Did the trans tunnel require any mods to fit the rotary box? Appears maybe not from the pics but to difficult to tell for sure?

the trans tunnel had to be cut open to fit the gearbox. bought the car for $550. my dad something fast so we pick the 12A. we had the original 3k running twin carbs with extractors and we just wanted more power after that. my dad's tested it and he said "she's fun to drive".
i'll get more pics of the car soon.

nice '11, the 12a mounts are right at the front arent they? howd you mount it? to that chassis rail that runs east west at the front?

We used RX7 series 1 engine mounts and welded them on. We modified the cross member.
