JAZE,
can you measure the backspacing (Wheel mounting face to the rear edge of the rim) please?
Or better yet do you know the offset?

I have a set of these 5 x 114.3mm 5 stud ex 300ZX Turbo 16 x 7.5inch on my wifes V6 Telstar. Great fitment and almost a straight bolt on too!
Would be heaps to fit a 5x114.3mm onto an RA40 4x114.3mm though!!
Break out the araldite ?

but if i ignore the stud pattern (i have crown front hubs and will be doing a hilux rear so the 5 stud thing is accounted for)but as for offset, would it sit too proud of the guard??? i am interested in them if they would fit.

I have a set of these wheels and the offset is 45. So it's not likely to sit proud of the guard, but you may have strut/suspension clearance issues depending on how much room there is...really have to trial fit since you will have a modified car.

to fit the RA40 (as per my MA45) you will need E series falcon or earlyer style rims, the wheels for sale here would be better suited for an MA70 supra

are you 100% sure of this, have you got a picture of a build plate?
if you do then that would be fantastic as it would make engineering and registering mine 100x easier as in SA we have a rule that if the car came with the engine from factory as long as you do the necessary brake upgrade (i.e. the same size or bigger as the ones that came on the car with the engine you are converting too) it is considered legal and does not require an engineers certificate.
Same as swapping an SR20DET into a silvia or 180sx that had a CA18

hmm interesting, I didn't know that... - Matt you could always use the JZA70 as your allaby, with it factory 1JZ. And the same as a supra chassis. Just try and find as much info as you can about it...

I could do that but down here they are seen as different cars unfortunately, when clearly they are identical in suspension and chassis, its a load of BS that I still have to pay upwards of $2000 to engineer the car...photos of those ID plates if they are authentic would be absolutely awesome
