I think I'm in love.
I'm after one to import and put an SR20 into (not registered. track only car)
but yeah if I could find one with roll cage, suspension, LSD etc already done that would be awesome.
Are they called TE71 GT's?

aftermarket support
don't need to make custom manifolds etc
comes turboed already
fulli sik
but yeah I was going to do a 20v 7A-GTE but decided it would be cheaper, easier and more benificial to get an already RWD turboed engine for it.

maybe if toyota made a north/south engine 2l 4cyl turbo...
i dunno what to get. that or an MZ20 soarer with a VVTi 1JZ. but i think the MZ will be too heavy and panels really hard to find if i get some drift damage.

yeah i'm not doubting they can drift but they are too good to crash haha.
and also if something decides to pack it in how would I get to work the next day?
that's kind of why i'd prefer to have a track only unregistered one. and i can strip it, lexan windows etc
hmm. I dunno what to do. maybe further on down the track i get a soarer.

parts are easy as piss to find, you just have to know where too look, i had a little "incident" in the hills invovling an armco i had a new corner light and headlight before lunch time the next morning ON A SATURDAY

the 4age only came out in the FWD GT sedans, ae82, ae92 etc.
the TE71 GT models came out with the 2TGEU - 1600 DOHC EFI engine, the TE72 came out with the 3T series

Yeah, gday Garth, there ain't many of us round is there!
Man, i've been toying with the idea of getting an AE86 as a track car for a while but i just can't cope with the inflated prices these days, and have been thinking about a KE70 (i'm a bit of a 4age man myself ), but after seeing this weapon i think i'm sold!
Now, i wonder if i can find a 2 door, preferably with that sweet twin headlight front end and lsd/disc rear end???
