The block looks rather stock, including the standard AFM. Just with some fancy leads, cam cover polish, etc... and general clean up removing emissions crap.
Still is a deffinate head turner, as is the owner.

is it me or do those strut towers look seriously bent to me?
the front of th erocker cover/radiator seems to be parallel to the bottom of the pic, but the strut brace is completely mis-aligned?!

hehe, at first i thought it was another sr20 conversion from the look of the engine and then when i read "It's safe to assume most '86 Corolla owners are aware that their haggard and worn-out 4AG engines will--if they haven't already--kick the bucket." that just pissed me off, then i realised it was a redtop prepped 4age conversion so then it was all good yes theres some serious cash rolling in that car
