Thanks, I'm off to the wreckers right now. What years are the RT140's ? 1984 to 1988 ?
Cheers,
Mitch.

A one piece TA22 manual tailshaft bolts into RA2x. Just change the yokes over, diff bolt flange may be differnet (I was using a TA22 centre in RA23)
I also belive automatic tailshafts are the same length.

ra_28, some rear flange joints will bolt up, others will not, check your measurements. I personally have fitted 3 Automatic single piece TA22 tailshafts to RA23/RA28's. Two were ok, the other had to have the rear flange swapped for the original from the 2 piece shaft. Go figure.
cheers Chuck.

Check my measurements WTF I never fitted ta22 tailshafts if you read the first post I'm talking about RT104 tailshafts and I've got 4 in my shed and there all the same.

a corona mark II tailshaft is suitable except that they are a couple inches too long so they need to be shortened.
they are quiet big diameter too
