First official unleaded Celica in the Country is a Aug-85 complied ST162, sold here in Perth, p00 brown/beige in colour.
All alloy headed Celica's can run unleaded, as said above.
If you want it to be offical, it started with the ST162 model, 1986 to 1989.

Due to Jap emissions laws,

You will find that Toyota ULP engines started in 1973.

Are there any Celicas that aren't alloy head ?

All cars sold in Australia from 1st January 1986 must run on Unleaded.
They have a smaller fuel filler neck which will only take unleaded nozzles.(As well as Cat Convertors)

RA40 will be powered by an 18R (or if you're lucky an 18RG) - it will happily burn just about any fuel you throw at it.
