g'day there everyone just thought i would ask a question from the vast knowledge bast of toymods.
I have a great need of a JZA70 ECU to get my car running with a 1jz. now i have been told that the serial number for this particular ecu should read something like:
89661-14480
now i can get my dirty little hands on an ECU with the numbers
89661-24280
what the hell is this for and will it do what i need it to do? i believe the first one is manual and the 2nd one is for an auto
any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Matt

I can confirm the first number is for a JZA70 Manual ECU.

There are way too many ECU's to list in any Tech Doc. Tell you what, I will do you a deal. Get all the ECU part numbers you want checked and PM them to me, on the condition that you also check and note every 1G-GZE ECU you come across, as I am chasing one, part number 89661-30330.
Cheers,
Mitch.
