So is this a Legacy import, or a conversion? Coz AFAIK there's no such thing as a 95 Liberty GT wagon.
Have you received "the letter" from Vicroads confirming its a legit import?
I'd suggest that you log onto the Liberty RS Club forum http://www.rslibertyclub.org/forums/ then & read about what's been going on with the Legacy imports that originated in Vic.
brendanteck, I'm not trying to discredit you in any way. Other owner's have been caught out by this & apparently all that is required by Vicroads is a pass over the pits & a new issue of chassis number.
Also, as a moderator ofthis forum I'd like to try to ensure that buyers that buy from this forum don't get caught out by something that is out of their hands.
BTW, I know this stuff because I'm a keen Subaru owner as well (had 5 Subies & 1 Toyota) & been a previous owner of a 93 Legacy GT wagon so I know that your car is pretty good.
Maybe you might want to try advertising it on the RS forum as well. You'll probably find some keen buyers there.
Sorry for the confusion. It is a Legacy and has a new vin number from Vic roads. Is registereg as a import with vic roads. I have had it for 3 years and never had a problem with the rego. Not trying to rip anybody off just need to sell the car.
