you can use same clutch and gearbox
100kw engines i think start from 800+, depends who and where you get them from though, i got my bare engine for 600

Just take the head off it and replace it with a smallport. The bottom ends are almost identical (no oil squirters in yours). It'll be far cheaper just to source the head and rebuild from there. You might need to change ecus/map sensors as well.
Ask yourself: is it really worth the hassle of an entire conversion just to get 14kw??? Why not just build on what you have at the moment?

if you want to do a full engine transplant you may as well go for something that will give you a significant power increase if thats what you are after, eg a 20v or GZE.....
but the 86kw with not many dollars spent on it will smoke a 100kw anyway

or u can just buy one for 700$ like me and sell the 86kw for 300 and that = 400 for the 100kw

the 100kw altho it has more power torque isnt greatly imporoved so the standard clutch should be fine. I have been in a ae82 corolla with a 100kw and it went quite well better than an 86kw with similar exhaust/intake mods.
