Ok, it may sound bad but I didn't actually ask for them plates ...

i didnt personally go with my friend to the rta, but when he got back he had ordered a set of plates, new design, black on yellow with lettering relating to his car. he doesnt know anyone at the rta personally. maybe he shouldnt have, but i know he got the plates he wanted.
i have also heard of someone getting ae86 related plates when the new design first came out a year ago, well before they were upto AE.

Also, we'll need a fancy phone number, like 1-800-girlbits.

Oh, and we'll need different size bits to cater for a wide and variable client base. We can even have a fancy shoe-box thing to store your bits in. Once we're established and famous we can then bring out the "Commenrative GirlBit Collection" and "Special Anniversay Collection". For fun, we can have a Miss GirlBit Head - sorta like Mr PotatoHead but with different interchangable bits.

Hi,
She'd be horrified! I was just playing around and my entreperneriel (spell?) spirit took over. It was a rare and frivolous moment from one who is so usually mature and careful.
Oh well, I got bigger issues now. Last night my Firewall software flashed on screen and I hit a button and now I can only get Toymods if I disable the firewall. Damned if I know what's going on with it. I may even be forced to read the manual.

Hi,
Yes, I've got anti-spyware software running and it's all clean.
THe firewall (Symantec) had gone wierd. I have to totally disable it to work now. As that leaves me rather exposed I'm getting off the net until I can fix it.
I think the laptop is okay, so push comes to shove I can connect with the lappie.
I'll check those things you said and see what happens.

Ok guys, this has unforuntalely been one of those threads which has managed to stay beneath the radar and allowed to continue well beyond where it should have.

To everyone who decided to make sexist remarks, posting offensive material and generally conducting themselves in a manner unbecoming of a decent person...... CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED.
Continuing with this behaviour will result in instant suspensions and bannings from the forum. This is not an isolated case, there is more than one thread at the moment where such behaviour has occurred.
The main culprits have been noted, and further discussion amongst the board will determine what action will be taken in those cases.
