Hi, seeking all girls to come to this cruise.
It is open to all car types but definately no guys!
I'm opening up a discussion amongst us girls with what
I have to propose to you all. I will be organising a bbq
but everyone else not interested are free to get maccas
or whatever they feel like. If you have CB's bring them
along, otherwise pm me for my number. Thanks!

Hi,
What's with the "definitely no boys" attitude?
I've never seen a cruise organised in these forums where there's a gender discrimination? Cruises should be open to all and sundry - and especially if you own a Toyota.
What happens if some boys just happen to turn up anyway? Is that gonna spoil your sexist girlie cruise? 
Where's that blue shaking head icon?

Hey, dont rain on the girls parade, Car clubs are a real male oriented place, so it can only be good if the occasional "girls only" cruise is held. It can only encourage more members. And hey, if the girls get to do a bit of networking, maybe they will be more keen to let their BF's / Hubbies out to play, as long as they can come too

go to it girls - this place tends to have the stench of excessive levels of testosterone.
if we had a near 50:50 mix at TTC Qld cruise and event attendees then i'd start complaining about positive discrimination.
you have my vote (but not my attendance).

Woo-hoo sounds like a blast. I will endeavour to get there. Hopefully enough of us girls can make it to the Toyota Nationals in 2006 so they will have to make a new trophy class for the ladies HINT HINT.....

Look, i'm not here to start a scene. I think it will just
be a good way to build a social network with the girls. Theres
not much girls that I know of that take great interest in this
industry so hopefully if this all goes well, I can see where
us girls stand. And maybe we could get something going on in
the future.
I cant stop you guys from coming but much appreciated if you
just let the girls have there fun.
And to the guys that feel offended, sorry lads!

Personally, I don't have any problem with the girls having a girls only cruise.I don't think it's gender discrimination.
This could help get more girls interested in club events therefore we might get more cars on club cruises.
AS cannonball said maybe they will be more keen to let their BF's / Hubbies out to play.
So in the long run it could benefit the club ex:"more financial members" thus helping the club to grow.
Remember most of the guys here have girl friends/wifes and in allowing them their cruise maybe reduce the "no you can't go because I want to go somewhere".
And thats my 2c worth.

Ahh the stench of testosterone... I think it left me 30 years ago! 
I don't hate you and I have no issues with lesbians. Some of my best friends are gay (male & female).
I won't come along and ruin your day and I hope you have fun.
I just found it funny to request a specific-gender cruise. If it goes well and you get the response you're after, then I'd hope that you'd want to join in the main part of the club and it's cruises, where we can all enjoy the cruises and mixed company.
So, let us know how it went anyway.

This sounds like a really cool idea, i want to get my lil MZ more interested in "the car scene" is it cool if i give her the Sportivo to come out with some of her friends??? They are not "into cars" that bad but it should be a fun night for em...
I'll tell my lil sis to bring out her rolla too with some of her friends as well... good stuff girls!!!

Well, that aint going to be! The original meet up spot has now been changed.
The only people that are going to know about it is those who have been
in contact with me via pm or msn. So any unexpected girls who are going to
rock up, please pm me before hand to find out our meet up spot. I dont want to
disappoint anyone if they show up & no one is there.

Note to girls....... I think going on cruzes with both sexes is important. Discrimination is a huge issue in car clubs but it's not in this one and I would like to keep it that way... The guys and Gals who are financial members of this club are all very nice people and have lot's of fond memories of our car club runs....meets and weekends away.....
So have your cruze, have fun and maybe come to our monthly meeting.. meet the other people, guys and girls , in Toymods.

Cruise sounds Fun, Unfortunately I won't be attending as I already have plans that weekend, but A little piece of advice from one of the clubs longest standing Female members.
Yes the club is pretty much male orientated, but with a good 98% of members being male you have to expect that. why don't you come to one of the events/meetings and meet up with us, yeah the guys all get talking cars and crap but that has never stopped us girls from joining up in a little group talking crap too.
it's just not really fair to exclude the guys as it is their club to and I know that I would probably be the first one to get crabby if they did a cruise with the "NO GIRLS ALLOWED" tag.
