Sorry to hark on seemingly old shit but new info is better here.
New clutch needed in my '90 GT4. I have found a 205 clutch for $108 new but it's looking like at least a thou cheapest to get it installed. Anyone know anyone a little cheaper. Brisbane

They're not the easiest clutch to do... If you want it done cheap, you're going to have to give someone a lot of slabs!

Yep engine out, gearbox out.
Its a slut to do.
easiest to do if you've got a 2 post hoist to get the motor out.
Also helps if you have 2 or 3 blokes to wiggle the gearbox off the dowels... because the motor is slanted when you lift it up on an engine crane the gearbox rests on the dowels and can be a major slut get get off.

yeah last time i saw one getting done the dude took the engine and box out. i wouldnt mind having a look for myself tho, cause sometimes you can use sly tricks to get things done. such as wide body camry's, your supposed to drop the entire sub frame, but i can do it without that Wink
