testing springs Mon, 06 June 2005 00:18 Go to next message
Hey guys,
I have a spare Ke70 that has king springs in the rear. I don't know how long they have been in there. I was wondering how I could test them to see if they are any good and worth putting into my current ke70? Any ideas?

thanks
Chris

Take them to a spring shop and ask them them to test their rate - if they come up even, they're fine. My experience is, being Kings, they won't!

really? do you find kings to be a dodgey spring or just not to last overtime?

To me a dodgey spring is a spring that doesn't last over time, ..., or snaps, ..., or sags, ..., or doesn't perform consistantly over time, ..., or ...
