Corona models

Hi, During the 80's Toyota brought out some interesting stuff. and some of that are all the different corona's, each brought out with different features and engines. I'm only just discovering what different spec's were made. Now I know there are Avante's which are the favorite with IRS and the 22RE. there ere also Avantes with a 2S. Some CSi's with the 22RE also. There are a couple of CS-X's around but are quite rare, i've owned two lol. an absoloute crap load of CS, S hangin around(a few bogans got hold of em too ). There are SR's which r very rare, with front spoiler and rear boot spoiler, JJ mags and house a celica 5speed with the "Super Responsive 2.4L" lol <- I own one currently and have only ever seen 1 other. In Japan They had the "GT-T" coronas which only came out with a 5 speed and a DOHC 16v single turbo 1.8 3T-GTEU and the best part, IRS with LSD. but there's like not many at all over in japan, let alone here. And now the other day i got told that There was such a thing as a 2 door corona with digital dashes in em. but is rare, and i mean rare Because i have never seen/heard of one until the other day, i would have dissregarded it as rubbish but have heard of the digital dashes. Sorry, this thread is probably just a waste of space, but has anyone ever heard or seen a mid 80's 2 Door corona?

Do some searches of japanese sites - a TT142, for example, is a 2-door corona with 3TGTE & IRS.

I don't think all the 3TGTE coupes had digital dashes. There was a GTT-R model that I believe was analogue. In any case Toyota had several levels of equipment in the GT-T model too, so some would have been digital and some not.
Some of the local Coronas has a digital dash in the Olympic edition. Having said all that, I hate digital dashes...

Learn something new everyday
I don't know shit about coronas and I own one. All I needed to know is that it was pretty light, had a solid rear end and a decent size engine bay
