you dont see alot of gas turbo cars and i have absolutely no idea about them, is this a reliable set-up, my only worry is not many ppl knowing how to fix it if it has a breakdown or something...

hey guys

when i started doing all the work to the car, i went to an engineer and asked him what needed to be done if it was on petrol, he told me that it would need to be emission tested, which would cost $1000 if it passed. then he told me that if it was on LPG, it does not need a emission test, and also it does not need
- bigger fuel pump
- fuel pressure regulator
- bigger fuel lines
- surge tank
- bigger injectors
- computer
- cat in exhust
and so on. this made it a whole lot cheeper and yes it is reliable, most mechanics are getting to know how to deal with LPG and i have not had a problem with it since been done 14,000 k's ago.

another thing, have you seen the price of petrol these days??
i get the same k's at half the price.

The Thing in front of the turbo is a big gas venturi, lets the gas in to the engine.

So it spits the gas in there instead of where petrol would normals flow and that is the injectors. Did you get the car as gas in the first place?

hey guys,

the thing in front of the turbo is a gas venturi, it basically sucks the right amount of gas for the revs.

the suspension is: king springs and koni adjustable shocks front and back.

it is straight LPG

it is registered but not egineered, i ran out of time and money, but the engineer said it would pass straight away when it has a brake upgrade.

every one know's this is cheap for what it is, so i am sure this is not a problem, i have been told to sell it for more but i need a quick sale

thanx everyone

Interested to know, do you have any issues with back-firing through the air box?

with the LPG i had to hook up the heater hoses to the gas converter and havent got round to connecting the heater back up yet.

most of the messy wiring you can see is for the thermo fans and can be neatend up
