pistons for an 18rg-u Sun, 12 June 2005 08:06 Go to next message
Just bought an 18r-u to drop in a ke82 corolla. Puled the motor down and found a skirt snaped off #2 piston. Block has been cleaned and waiting to be bored. Need a set of pistons. Any one know where I can get a set. Have been to al local performace workshops and the local toyota dealer and no-one can get them. Please help!?!

It all depends on what bore size you want, whether or not you want stockies and what compression ratio you want.

JP Engineering in SA can bo up some cast custom pistons for you.
I have a quote number for some in a 92 Bore with whatever compression ratio you want. They look pretty good. Toysport do forgies.
If you want more information I can supply more.

I have a set of pistons if you are interested, with conrods in top condition.

I also have a blue printed, crack tested and honed block as well that i don't need anymore.

PM me your email address and i can email you some pictures of the pistons.

Not wanting much.

Thanks,
Michael

Just looking to bore a little over stock and keeping the ratio round the same as stock. Stockies will do the job for now. Cost is not an option. Can JP ship them to VIC?
