just wondering if i can get a ballpark figure of what it would cost to get my 2tg block prepared. things like checking tolerances, honing, acid dip and decking. just tryin to work out ho much more i need before i can get it all together.

I spent $120 having my 4age block honed, decked and ringed. That included checking bores for size and out-of round.

I did the welsh plugs myself. They're 3 or 4 bucks a pop. Didn't bother with acid dip.

Yeah acid-dipping is over rated. I got a block acid dipped once and I was still blowing chunks of dirty shit outta the water-ways and oil-ways etc afterwards.
