Hi

Just out of curiosity i was wondering if any1 knows how do they make the sway bars be adjustable in race cars

Like the 2 levers that the drivers pull for front and rear in the v8 supercabs....how does that stuff operate

Thanx

They are blade adjustable. The cross bar of the sway bar is connected through a bearing to a blade of steel instead of the normal bar. When the blade is side on it can be easily bent making the characteristics of the swaybar softer. When the blade is edge on to the direction of movement it is far harder to bend the blade making the sway bar behave stiffer.

The lever inside the car simply turns the blade.
