So by the looks of that site...it is safe to assume that the gearbox on ebay is actually a w58??.....even if u don't really know i just need to know what u think...so i can get a majority....all those in favour that the ebay item is a w58...say I

As Shane said, it's a W58, because it has a steel sandwich plate, judging by the shifter position, my guess is it was originally from a Mk3 Supra (MA70 NA or GA70).

I'd ASK the seller what box it is cause that won't be the exact one you'll be getting. See here:

Notice how it's EXACTLY the same pic. I think it's just a generic pic they're using for sale purposes. Just make sure you're getting a w58 cause $440 for a w55 would be a bit steep.
