Revised after engine and turbo inspection..

Toyota 1G-GTE DOHC 24V Inline 6 Cylinder - $300.00 (Plus $200 for Loom & ECU)
(Suspect blown head gasket, still to confirm)
Generation 2 motor - Lime coloured injectors & yellow ECU plugs.
- Minus Turbos
- Complete Engine Loom with ECU
- Slightly Used Copper Spark Plugs

Single Turbo Setup. Apon taking turbo off I found that water was mixed with the oil inside the oil gallery/shaft of the turbo and inside the wastegate where exhaust gasses go. I've cleaned them both out with spirits and the turbo spins freely now. If you want to buy it then it's your choice but I'm pretty sure it's still okay.

Genuine HKS Cast Iron Single Turbo Manifold $450.00

HKS "COPY" 50mm Wastegate $150.00 ($300 new)

Genuine Garrett TO4E Turbocharger $550.00

Genuine HKS Super Filter air filter element for factory airbox $50.00 -SOLD
Filter has original box aswell.

Pipe from Turbo to Air Flow Meter - Goes with kit as it wouldn't work without it. Although if the kit gets broken up you can offer a price.

I should also point out the w/gate is "fatter" than the w/gate that originally came with the kit. Because of this it fouled on the engine mount, so some "fins" on the w/gate have been shaven back to clear the engine mount. The engine mount was also ground back some aswell. The kit can be bought without the 50mm w/gate so you could buy a 42mm w/gate and this will fit perfectly.

The engine was in my 1988 GZ20 Soarer and has done 104267km's.

These are some pics of the turbo kit. Pics were taken by the person I bought it off, so the genuine HKS 42mm wastegate pictured isn't included as it's dead. As I mentined it now has a HKS Copy 50mm gate.

Are you asking if the turbo setup will fit the 1G in your ma61 or are you asking if this engine will fit into your ma61?

Pretty sure it's just the head gasket, but I'll know for sure next week when the engine comes out at my mates house.
I've been pulling it down while it's in the car so I might be able to get the head off before then.
I'm in Inglewood if you wanted to have a preliminary inspection?

i have a replacement head & gasket to fit to it if its only that. what price did u want the engine only to go for inc. those 7m injectors? i like the idea of the larger turbo but 2g is a bit more than what i have at the moment. if its floating around in a couple of weeks then ill be interested in the whole pakage.

Hi Ray,
Well I was looking for $250 for the injectors.
If you just want the engine only, minus the gearbox and loom and ECU then I'll take $300. So $550 all up.
If you want the loom and ECU then add say $200 to that.

Will i need the loom for the injector plugs to fit? If there is no other damage, just the blown gasket, then i'm very interested. one other thing, how many km's has it done? my number is 0432276322 so next week when the engine does come out at your mates,sms me the address n ill come have a gander.

Ray, km's are: 104267.
I am using the standard injector plugs, so if you already have a loom for this engine then it'll be fine. The 7M injectors have had 2 pieces of plastic shaved off each one so they fit the standard injector plugs. This doesn't affect them performance or looks wise.
As soon as it comes out and we determine the exact problem I'll SMS you with the details.

The A340E auto box from the 1G-GTE is now not available.
I've been advised it's better than the A342E that came with the 1JZGTE, so it's been switched and is now bolted to the 1JZ.

Okay, the engine is available for picking bits off now.
It's still complete at the moment, but if you want something just ask and offer me a price, don't forget I'm in Perth so freight would be involved.
I'll provide a pic of what you want but it'll be by camera phone as I don't have a digital camera.

I've also got the whole subframe from the GZ20 Soarer minus the strut towers and springs.
It still has the power steering rack in good condition, as well as the brakes and rotors, sway bar, etc.
I'm looking at cutting the subframe up over the weekend on Sunday if no one wants it, but will retain all the bits that can be unbolted.
