I guess it would depend on how much you want to spend. I bought an autronic for mine.

I bought it second hand for 1300. New I think about 2200. Some people use haltec I think too. You will have to modify the dizzy with the autronic though.

im going to use an ems 8860 i would love a autronic or a motec but at the end of the day 2700 for an autronic and 2500 for a motec thats before fitting tuning etc its just too far out of my budget. The 8860 has alot of extra imputs and outputs which is what i am looking for and is going to cost $2500 fitted by a a well known workshop and installed however this dosent mean that the car wont need ongoing tuning.
So the simple answer is that most aftermarket ecu's these days will run a 4agze however the additional features of the higher end ecus can provide better driverbility and have alot of saefty features built in aswell as being able to control alot of other additional hardware like thermofans intercooler watersprays electronic boost control etc etc..
So if you want something basic then buy a cheap ecu if you want all the wiz bang features buy a motec or autronic

sm2 is the bigger version
has more things u can do with it but an smc is more than enough for a 4agte
sm2 just has more outputs and traction control
but a basic smc will be about 1700 to 1800
if u want launch control and anti lag and auto tune then it can hit about 2200

i want alot of imputs outputs so yes a sm2 is what i need or a motech m400 or an ems 8860 the 8860 is the cheapest by far i can get one installed and tuned for the cost of a sm2 alone

y do u want so much outputs
smc can have up to 4 outputs
the only reason u need more inputs or outputs is for traction control

between 2 - 2.5K
fitted and dyno tuned by Adam at JEM.
Just Engine Management.
Adams 4AGTE has put out 270rwkw with a e6k.

the gze computer is "supposed" to be good for 14psi so you could get away with it untill you can afford an aftermarket ecu
