Hey,
Quick question that I'm sure some of you guys know. Will a t50 gearbox off a 2t fit straight onto a 3tc or an 18rg without modification. Will I need a different bellhousing? Thanks for your expertise - Saves me getting it wrong straight up.
-(Currently have an 3tc with an auto, got a 2t manual gearbox,clutch,tailshaft...the other day, looking at buying a good 18rg with the hope of having a decent manual celica in the end - I want all the bits to fit.)

yes, 2T and 3T boxes will bolt up.
no idea about the 18RG though.

well, that's a positive. I'd really like to know if it fits onto an 18rg though, that'd be the ideal scenario.

No, a T50 won't bolt up to an R series engine. AFAIK there are only factory bellhousings for T series and A series. If you want an 18R-G you'll need a W50 steel-case Celica box or a W55/57/58 alloy-case Celica/Supra box.

i doubt a T50 would last long behind a decent 18RG
