Q1. Is it possible to buy a AE111 in Aussie yet, or thru private imports?

Q2. What engine is in the AE111, and what drive train ?

Q3. How does it compare to the AE101, without stating the looks?

Uhh, correct me if I'm wrong, but the AE111 has come and gone in Australia, and as far as I know it ran the 7A-FE, the same engine in the Aus released AE101's....

The AE101 was the last model to see the 4AGZE in it Sad , but I don't know if and or when the 20valves stopped being put into corollas... I think the last production model 20v corolla was released in '99 which I think may have still been in the 101 series but don't quote me on that...

As for drive train, they're all FF these days, the AE86 was the last model corolla with the FR setup. Every single corolla, even the later Levin series where FF

Ah both these cars are cars ar ehot looking htings, ashame they didnt realise that rwd would have made them mor epopular and developed them as so.
Saw a vid also of an ae111 beating a vtec civic in a race. Think it was also a Honda based site.

For some reason my fav out of these was always the ae101 trueno (not the levin - doesnt appeal to me really), however I luv the body profile of the ae111's!!!!

I love that rounded look of the supercharged AE101 and I love the shape of the AE111 levin and truenos.

I'd trade my soarer for an AE101 supercharged for sure...

That's saying a lot 'cause I really like this car (only two other cars I would want other than that - a good cond. MX83 grande or a Crown Royal Saloon G drool)

But yeah, wouldnt mind an AE101 4AGZE at all Smile

aparantly according to hpi magazine the supercharged levins arent available for import under the sevs scheme. the 20v bz-g or whateva they are called are allowed to be imported.

The levins are a very nice looking car there were quite a few in fuji-yoshido which is at the base of mt fuji which has alot of windy roads so it says alot for why people buy them there i wouldnt mind a sleek looking levin
