Hey guys, there's some good looking KE's on here, good to see! The first car I ever drove was a KE55 4sp paddock basher, it kicked a$$!

Anyways, relatively new to toymods (under this username anyway) so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm after a KE70 if anyone's got one they wanna sell! Under $1k please Very Happy

Hey, does anyone know the off set for KE30 corollas? I need to know pretty soon and can't find it anywhere, I need to know asap as I may be getting some minilites. they are the correct offset for the KE70 if that helps.

250kw in a car that weighs around 900kg, Cool .
Good stuff Josh. That would be great fun to drive. Would scare quite a few other cars at the traffic lights Laughing.

Megz: The "tube" on the firewall just above your circle is where the clutch cable came out originally, correct?
If so the clutch master will probably mount just below that.
If you want to mount it further over you will have to work out some way to hook the push rod to the pedal.
Hope that helps.
BTW, looking good Very Happy .

Drill a hole in the clutch pedal just below the pivot point. You will have to remove some of the bracket so the pushrod can move freely. Bolt the push rod for the clutch master to the pedal with this hole and now it pushes instead of pulling Very Happy .

Have another look at the pics I posted earlier in this thread.

LOL: Nothin better to do on a Sunday night! Nothing on TV!

Whitewalls were done by a guy who comes around mobile, normally at swap meets etc. Around $20-00 per tyre. Have been cut in properly and everything. Makes the 12" rims look bigger too! Laughing

With the air con, as I have the original KE20 condensor, compressor, lines etc, it would be a shame not to install them, whether she likes it or not! Very Happy Rolling Eyes Razz . Have to try and find an original toyota evaporator now.

Cheers

If you fit flares, make sure you fill them up!

Nothing worse than some nice looking flares and then a cavernous gap between the flare and wheel.

Yeah, sorry mate, I get you now.

I just had a read of your thread in tech and conversion. Don't know if you could use it but 4runners have the clutch master mounted under the dash with a remote reservior in the engine bay. Might be another option.

Cheers Scott the engine bay is getting tidied up everyday which is good. Took my prop shaft in today to get it shortened, so hopefully nothing is wrong with that...
Yeah 250kw's for a Corolla is more than impressive, its F$*%ing insane... you must be nuts to drive that thing around!!!
Also i modified my radiator piping and water piping to make it a lot useful and so that there isn't heaps of piping going everywhere... I'll take a pic of what i mean. Tomorrow i'll hook up fuel lines and pumps and get the battery in the boot sorted.
Cheers

thats untuned as well, imagine how it will hammer once its tuned. Went on the cruise two weeks ago and man does that thing hammer sounds fucking awesome to. Nothing beats standing on the side of the road, watching stitt rowing the car along to make it go faster at flat knackers. Oh and that was on a low boost setting.
Then hearing it on the dyno last weekend its insane. 180rwkw first run with wheel spin, then 250rwkw everyone just dropped. I mean it killed all but three 1jzgte there.

Megz, have a look at a cab-over vehicle like an early model tarago van or liteace etc. I'd say that'd most likely be your best bet on a remote reservoir setup.

Ke30king, don't mean to rain on your parade. But would you be able to resize the pic of the 2t-g down a little so a person doesn't have to scroll to the left and right. Just a little <holds thumb and forefinger 5mm apart> cause i do Heart the pic but not the scrolling

Does anyone know where to get a kit to hook up a remote resoviour as i need one for my brake master too...
Cheers
Michael

Megz, have a look at a cab-over vehicle like an early model tarago van or liteace etc. I'd say that'd most likely be your best bet on a remote reservoir setup.

Ok cool thanks rob i'll check it out this weekend.
Cheers
Michael

Yep -well its not mine. I think he's dreaming as well. Just spotted it and thought I'd post out of interest. It is interesting to see what some people think these are worth though.

My 8G goes into my KE20 ground-up rebuild.

Yeah that 25 on carsales is awesome, my opinon on the price is, thats what he thinks the car is worth.. i don't think he will even get near to that but he can try. goodluck to him with that price.
My first post was 6months ago when i bought my car, i have come a long way since then... and no doubt a long road ahead..
