Polypropylene Bumpers/Bodykits Tue, 28 June 2005 14:31 Go to next message
Anyone know of a company in Australia producing polypropylene replacement bumpers or bodykits? I want to modify an original poly front bumper to increase frontal area, and would like to investigate either having a new skin made up or my original skin modified to suit my requirements? I'd prefer to avoid fibreglass, due to it's tendancy to crack and chip over time?

Are you sure you want to use Polyurethane on your bumper?

You would need to use 75 shore (Durometer D) Polyurethane to get the same hardness as the existing Polypropylene bumper.

Somehow I doubt many companies make Polyurethane that hard.

For all your riceboy needs just grab a copy of the ricer bible... Hot4's!

Jetspeed springs to mind when thinking bodykits.
