I agree. Organise something and lets get some people actually turn up. Give it a couple of weeks and my Rona should be ready for its maiden outing Very Happy

Give it a few weeks and the Supra should be good to go, (hooray, more problems with it)

Just gotta do the rear gearbox seal, get the wheels aligned, and replaced the dif. Easy stuff really, it's just I'm currently broke and unemployed (looking to fix that shortly), sooo if it's not any time soon I'll be definatly keen.

boost organised a members-only event at willowbank - it looked like a mamoth task as they needed a minimum number of cars to cover track hire and non-drivers still had to pay entry (and use the track catering service).

see here for organistional history:

aftermath:

as you can see/read, it's a shite-load of work and effort (i never went but was interesting to watch/read progress on the organisation).

i'd suggest going (early) as a mob to a test-and-tune, appointing someone to liase with track officials to keep mob members racing together and to keep a running score. Having a common parking area and a few nominated photographers will help as well.

Yeah, definatly drag. I can't drift, and I'm not willing to learn in this car, it's had enough technical problems since I got it Wink

good luck with the track staff, they dont like anyone or anything.

although, they may allow us to be put in certain lanes so we can match race, then we can fuck about and line up correctly to get in order

i'll ask my dad who's the best person to talk to

the boost track day was awesome,some cars got 20+ runs

lets say july ther 30th or august the 6th or august the 27th

basically, never go during the street series events or u get fuck all runs, or during the screamin eagle night {harley night}

and i'll be away on the 20th august Very Happy

that can give ppl time to make adjustments/fix shit for the jamboree which is september the 17/18th
