this was back in the twin turbo days.
burnouts only happen at the track now, and it takes a long time to get it motivated to come on boost, unless the gas is activated.
ahh, i remember the days of boost on tap, big burnouts are a thing of the past now.

Also that stupid music got in the way of the awesome engine noise.

"the driver" should have saved the tyres for a daytime burnout where you can actually see the smoke on camera. it seemed like a big one, but i couldnt really appreciate it because of the lack of light.

i agree with big willie style, needed more light, and that camera mounted on the door didn't do much due to the door being open the whole time.
Oh and MX73_drifter it IS a mz20 with the motor replaced with a JZ hence JZZ20.
Gee if someone had done a sweet conversion like that don't you think they would have advertised it, or put "I got a 1JZ" as there user name

well to be fair, the federals i had on were fairly worn out anyway... so they didnt have far to go in their life.
they screeched so loud they overpowered the noise of the engine, all you could hear was tyre squeal

i always thought smoke was a direct factor to the compound of the tyre?
soft compound = lots of smoke and grip
hard compound = long life and not much smoke.
Is this not true?

thats true to a point but I think there is something in the design of some tyres that just make them smoke harder

My old Maxxis didn't take well to being punished as a performance tyre, but MAN did they smoke good. Bloody hard, and made for taxi drivers.

Standstill's are the most difficult form of racing
